Late Invitation: Operation Sneak Peek Mod is a software extension package intended to upgrade some of the elements found in C&C: Generals Zero Hour. Originally created in 2002, this mod is now being re-released to the public.

Similar to other mods associated with the Command & Conquer franchise, the primary intention of this software is to enhance existing gameplay as opposed to reinventing what might be considered a classic MMORPG.

Many legacy beta elements included

The programmers of this bundle have kept many of the features intact that were featured in the 2002 version. Examples include textures, models, sound effects, and voices.

Moderately improved AI

While the 2002 version was equipped with beta-tested artificial intelligence, it was limited at the time. This newer package has reworked the AI in order to be more functional and realistic during gameplay.

Partially functional enhancements

While staying true to form, this mod contains additional features that were included in the 2002 iteration. INI values, the original heads-up interface (HUD) and user interfaces will appear much as they did over two decades ago.

A nice mod for die-hard Command & Conquer fans

Late Invitation: Operation Sneak Peek Mod is yet another example of how modern software bundles can be used to introduce the classic Command & Conquer series to a contemporary audience.

However, this package is also suitable for those who are keen to relive the improvements associated with the 2002 beta update. The developers have essentially recreated this version as realistically as possible.
